Another gorgeous day in NYC. I tell you nice weather makes JFing so much easier. It really affirms the fact that one should work in coordination with the earth's rhythms. I am kind of sad I am stopping right when the sun is popping. But no worries, I plan to keep one day a week totally juicy in order to continue this life long process of prevention and health flowing smoothly. I am excited also for more variety once the markets start to produce.
The count down is on! 5 whole days left. I was in the health food store and tempted to start stocking up on raw treats and snacks, but I think that would be a dangerous idea. At this point I am SOOO mentally ready for solid foods, but my body is still not sure it remembers how to chew! haha
In any case the first couple of days are just soaked prunes and more juice, so I am not quite there yet anyways.
Keeping it short tonight, as I am finally tackling another very long and over due post for my other blog. Topic: Detox on a shoestring budget (and schedule!)

Oh, I'm sad you've only got 5 days left, I've been so loving your blog! Not to say I'll stop reading though!
I have a question, as a colon hydrotherapist maybe you can give me some insight. I'm on day 31 of JFing and my enemas have been out of this word from the very beginning. I have lots of mucousy strands, some totally clear, some speckled with brown stuff, and some mostly brown. My question, Penni had a post where she said these are parasitic egg strands. In your experience is this true or is it just old mucousy fecal matter? Or can we even tell for sure?
I've also been passing small clear red 'balls' no larger than the size of a small pea. One of the practitioners in our office says these are also parasitic....just curious if you've had experience or heard of either of these things!
I have scheduled a series of weekly colonics and ozane saunas for the next three weeks so maybe they can give me some perspecitve as well.
Totally jealous that you get to have a colonic whenever you want!!
Love your blog!
xoxo,
Linda
WOW, Linda, I was so touched to get your comment. I didn't know I had such die hard fans out there. I totally appreciate your sweet words of support...almost makes me want to keep going! Congrats on your journey, sounds like you are going strong. If I didn't have a wedding to plan, I would seriously consider the entire 92 days. Next time!
SO now on to poop talk! haha
Well, hum, very possible that what you are experiencing is parasitic die off, but it is really hard for me to say without seeing it. In my experience, the parasites I have seen are either longish worm looking numbers or very small wormish things. Never seen any red ones.....although I have seen some scare tissue that was dried red blood coming from deep within the intestine. Have you had any surgeries or ulcers in the past? Almost everyone passes mucous during their colonics especially if they have had lots of colds or flu's in the past.
Let me know what your colonic hydrotherapist says, I am curious!
Yes, I am SOOO grateful to be able to treat myself about 3 times a week. It has really made the cleansing process easier and faster.
Be well, and good luck!!!
